Starchefs’ annual Rising Stars of New York City – August 17, 2010

Maritime Parc takes Starchefs’ annual Rising Stars of New York City event to the heart of New Jersey for the first time. The Rising Star Awards recognize up-and-coming chefs, pastry chefs, sommeliers, and mixologists from around the country who represent future leaders of the national culinary scene. StarChefs.com chooses only four American cities in which to name Rising Stars each year.

Starchefs will honor New York’s most talented young chefs on Sept. 22, and this year that honoring will be done at Maritime Parc in Liberty State Park, NJ. A honor for Maritime Parc and the state of New Jersey. Chris Siversen, executive chef and co-owner of Maritime Parc says, “I think it is a coup for the park, Jersey City as well as New Jersey, having such an amazing array of chefs all in one location on a single night.”
